While the fine individuals depicted on this page aren't in fact the game designers at American McGee's new studio, they should give you a taste of what the developer next has in store for the gaming world.
Yes, trolls.
McGee is looking to build a new team at his Shanghai office, to begin work on "an episodic game set in a dark, fairy tale universe." With Alice nearing its sixth birthday and the in-progress works Grimm and Oz, it's a genre that McGee has come to embrace.
McGee says he's looking for "experienced programmers, artists, level designers, writers, musicians, producers, or other game related craftsmen, who want to help build the best independant [sic] development studio in China."
It should be noted that McGee's Bad Day LA is also in the final stages of its development and anticipates a late 2006 release. We hope to have more details on this current unnamed project as soon as possible.
