First Splinter Cell: Conviction Footage

Sam Fisher has quite literally stepped out of the shadows with the upcoming addition to Ubisoft's renowned franchise. We've got the first in-game footage of Splinter Cell: Conviction for your viewing pleasure today. You'll notice that the gameplay appears to channel Dead Rising more than previous Splinter Cell titles, as Sam dukes it out with pesky security forces in plain public view. Character animations are worth noting, as is Sam's ability to use his surrounding environment to his advantage in combat.

The adventure continues on the XBOX 360 and PC during the holiday season of this year.
