IO's third person action adventure asks what would have happened if the Soviet Union surpassed the United States on the political front, surrounding North America with its allies and then launching an attack against New York in a bid to topple the only democracy left on the planet. Flavored with Soviet-style propaganda, the game joins the ranks of Red Dawn and Commando by putting the player into the shoes of its protagonists in an 80's inspired shooting spree through downtown Manhattan as they take up the fight to stop the Evil Empire. It's an exciting "what-if" scenario that packs as much action into its gameplay as it does with its vision of a modern Soviet invasion and what it would come to the party with. Complete with a television station that continues to spout "Tokyo Rose" flavored commentary to convince Americans to surrender and accompanied by the martial sounds of Jesper Kyd, players would get to experience a moment in history that, thankfully, never came true.
