Listen all of y'all, it's a sabotage...

Today Pandemic Studios and EA announced that The Saboteur will be available in Europe on December 4 and in all other regions on December 8.

Inspired by a true story, The Saboteur stars Sean Devlin, an Irish race car driver trapped behind enemy lines in 1940s Nazi-occupied France.

“The Saboteur is an entirely new take on WWII action gaming. Instead of putting players in the role of a soldier, they’ll experience one man’s quest for vengeance,” said Pandemic president Josh Resnick in a statement. “Every street of Paris is alive with options, every block is teeming with action.”

The Saboteur is an eye-catching title, thanks in part to it’s ‘Will to Fight’ mechanic. Areas of Paris dominated by Nazi rule will appear as a dark and oppressed police state rendered in black, white, and red. As the player commits acts of sabotage against the occupying force however, color begins to permeate the world. This has given the game a unique style, which coupled with the over-the-top action, sets The Saboteur apart from other, more dour, WWII titles.

The Saboteur will be available simultaneously for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
