2K Games: It’s Just ‘BioShock 2′
Noticeably absent from Game Informer’s debut preview of BioShock 2 was any mention of the game’s purported subtitle, “Sea of Dreams.”
The first teaser trailer for the game, released last October and included below, concludes with a title screen bearing the name “BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams.” Many took this to be the game’s official, final title. However, the game has been referred to almost exclusively as simply “BioShock 2″ as of late.
We asked publisher 2K Games for clarification and heard from Community Manager Elizabeth Tobey, who had this to say:
“You won’t be seeing ‘Sea of Dreams’ moving forward, just ‘BioShock 2.’”
There it is. Just BioShock 2.
