Original Story– San Diego-based independent development studio The Behemoth, responsible for Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers, is gearing up to reveal its third major release, which the company has referred to on its own forums simply as “Game #3″ since early this year.
Last week, The Behemoth’s own Emil Ayoubkhan revealed on the company’s Twitter that the studio was “getting ready to make [its] first official trailer for game #3.” An update posted earlier today proclaimed proudly that the “trailer for game #3 is complete!”
While the team did not formally announce when the trailer will be made available, it implied that we’ll have our first taste of Game #3 within the next week or two. The studio will also be attending the Tokyo Anime Fair on March 20 and 21, and has said it will be “revealing some exciting new stuff there”; the trailer’s release may coincide with the event.
Castle Crashers launched exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade last summer and was warmly received, enjoying over 250,000 units sold in its first month. The game was praised for its attractive art style and addictive side-scrolling gameplay.
Expect more on Game #3 very soon.
