Capcom Announces Dead Rising 2; First Media
Capcom’s working on a sequel to its 2006 open-world Xbox 360 zombie brawler, the publisher announced today. Dead Rising 2 takes players to Fortune City, an obvious facsimile for Las Vegas, where the zombie outbreak continues unabated. Photojournalist Frank West won’t be the star of this game, but we’re sure he’ll at least be alluded to over the course of the game.
Dead Rising 2 is being developed with Blue Castle Games for the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3.
Capcom revealed that the first Dead Rising sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide on the Xbox 360 since its release in August of 2006. Capcom promises it will reveal more storyline and gameplay details very soon. In the meantime, enjoy the media!
