Alone in the Dark Goes Gold, Steps Into the Light June 24

Production has wrapped today on the much-anticipated forthcoming title by Eden Games and ATARI, the re-envisioned classic Alone in the Dark. The game, which has gone gold for the Xbox 360, PC, and Wii, arrives on store shelves June 24 in North America and four days prior in Europe. The PlayStation 3 version is scheduled for a late autumn release.
The game stars one Edward Carnby as he battles a growing evil force spreading out of New York City’s Central Park.
“With its genre-busting mix of gameplay, wide-screen presentation style and DVD chapter select feature putting the player in control, Alone in the Dark will thrill all gamers,” said Phil Harrison, President of Infogrames (ATARI) Entertainment. “It’s a game which will challenge the player but also reward them with a one-of-a-kind video game experience and a huge amount of fun.”
