Sid Meier’s Civ Revolution Demos Hit PlayStation Network, Xbox Live

Demos for the next entry in Sid Meier’s long-running Civilization franchise, Civ Revolution, are now available on both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. Xbox Live subscribers in all regions except Asia have access, but the PlayStation 3 demo is limited to North American PSN users. It weighs in at a fairly hefty 1.25 GB.

The demo contains a tutorial for those just cutting their teeth on Civ’s turn-based gameplay, plus singleplayer campaign missions and multiplayer competitive play.

An obviously modified version of the game will also be coming to the Nintendo DS; all three will be released simultaneously in early July.
