BioShock on the PlayStation 3 Is Finally Official

By Alex Petraglia on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 12:25 PM EST

BioShock, our pick for 2007’s Game of the Year, may have started life as an Xbox 360 console-exclusive, but has long been rumored as coming to the PlayStation 3.

This month’s issue of EGM finally grants some validity to those claims: the rag’s got the exclusive first details on BioShock for the PS3, which 2K has finally officially recognized.

Expect screens and info courtesy of the franchise’s new creative director (?!) Jordan Thomas, who has taken the reigns from fanboy-favorite Ken Levine. Potential details on BioShock 2 are hinted at as well. All Rapturians would be wise to pick up a copy of the issue come early June.
