New Prince of Persia Officially Announced

After the debut of last week’s Prince of Persia teaser page, Ubi took it upon itself to officially announce the new and currently unnamed title in the popular franchise.

The game, currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal, is scheduled to debut on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC late this year.

A companion title for the Nintendo DS, featuring distinct gameplay and story elements, will be released around the same time.

The title is said to “rejuvenate the action-adventure genre in addition to introducing a brand-new illustrative art style.”
