Various Metal Gear Solid 4 Editions Detailed, Pictured

Just about a month ago, we ran two stories regarding the three retail versions of Metal Gear Solid 4: first as a rumor and not long thereafter as an official confirmation from Sony.

Today, more details are being shed on the Limited Edition of the game and the PlayStation 3 bundle.

The LE will retail for $84.99 and include a Blu-ray disc that includes two ‘Making-Of’ Documentaries, featuring an interview with Kojima himself, and a four chapter graphical novel. A Metal Gear soundtrack CD is also part of the package.

Those who preorder from Gamestop will receive a MGS4 artbook. The Gamestop SKU number is 270209.

The regular edition of the game is pictured left, while the limited edition is to the right.

As for the $499 PlayStation 3 bundle, it will more than likely include the regular edition of the game, not the limited edition.

Here are new pictures of the special edition PS3, with its beautiful gun metal exterior and matching wireless DualShock 3.
