Molyneux Hints At Syndicate Remake

Speaking exclusively with Shacknews, legendary game developer Peter Molyneux has revealed his desire to someday remake his own classic sci-fi action game, Syndicate.
“I really would love to redo a version of Syndicate. Syndicate was probably one of my favorites,” he recently told the Shack in an interview.
“One day, I’m sure that opportunity is going to come up and I’d love to do it.”
EA gained the rights to Syndicate when it acquired Molyneux’s old studio, Bullfrog Productions, in 1995. Molyneux’s current home, Lionhead Studios, was purchased by Microsoft in 2006, and is currently developing Fable 2 exclusively for the Xbox 360.
Part One of the interview is now available at the Shack.

I have many fond memories of spending hours upon hours playing Syndicate. Here’s hoping a quality remake could capture the addictive enjoyment of the original. Seeing as it’ll be made by the same person, chances are yes.
