Borderlands, Mafia II, Midnight Club LA, GTAIV Episodic Content In 08-09

At the aforementioned Take-Two conference call, the company revealed that several more of its prominent upcoming releases are currently scheduled for fiscal 2009, which runs from November 1 of this year to October 31 of 2009.

Gearbox’s post-apocalyptic shooter Borderlands will arrive on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 during this time-frame, as will 2K Czech’s (formerly Illusion Softworks) 1950s crime thriller Mafia II (PC, PS3, Xbox 360). Again, BioShock 2 is tentatively scheduled for fiscal Q4 2009, which means holiday 2009 is a safe bet.

Meanwhile, Rockstar San Diego’s underground racer Midnight Club: Los Angeles should see the light of day on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 a bit earlier: the game is scheduled for a fall 2008 release.

Also coming this fall are Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution, Top Spin 3, Don King Presents: Prizefighter, NBA 2K9, NHL 2K9, and the first episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV, exclusively on the Xbox 360.
