GDC 08: Gears of War 2

A PR from Microsoft Italy has confirmed that Gears of War 2 will be hitting 360 exclusively this November.

The sequel to Epic’s smash-hit shooter will continue the story of Marcus Fenix and humanity’s war with the locust. A teaser trailer is expected to be shown at Microsft’s GDC Keynote any minute now.

Here’s the text from the PR for the curious:

• “Gears of War 2” (Epic Games). “Gears of War 2” è il sequel del campione di incassi, con 4,5 milioni di copie vendute, che ha ridefinito il genere dei giochi d’azione tattici in terza persona. “Gears of War 2” continua la storia di Marcus Fenix e della Squadra Delta in un’epica saga di sopravvivenza, sconfitta e castigo. Sviluppato da Epic Games in esclusiva per Xbox 360, “Gears of War 2” sarà disponibile dal prossimo novembre.
