GDC 08: Magic the Gathering Coming to Xbox Live

Now, you don’t even need to have real friends to be able to play Magic: The Gathering. The world-famous, 15 year-old card game will soon be coming to Xbox Live, Wizards of the Coast announced today.
UK-based Stainless Games will develop the game for both Xbox Live and PC.
“We’re excited to bring the Magic brand to new platforms and give our fans new ways to experience this great property,” said Jared Gustafson, the Brand Director for Magic at Wizards. “It’s partnerships like these that will advance the strategy games category and transform it to meet the needs and desires of today’s digital gamers.”
The concept of Magic on XBL is pretty cool, but we’re frankly terrified by the prospects of card pack DLC’s.
More details are expected soon.
