Major Team Fortress 2 Update Coming Today; Includes New ‘Badlands’ Map

Valve will be releasing the first of many new Team Fortress 2 updates starting today.

This update most notably contains the new ‘Badlands’ map, which “pushes control-point gameplay onto vertical landscapes.”

Other updates includes global optimizations for networking, graphics, and player statistics, plus improvements to Source TV for tournament viewing, in addition to a number of tweaks to the Dustbowl, Granary, and CTF_Well maps.

We’ll share some Badlands screens and impressions later this afternoon when the update goes live.
