Professor Layton 2 Unofficial Official Confirmation?

Professor Layton Sequel Confirmed

Looks like the U.S. will be getting the sequel to Professor Layton and the Curious Village, even though Nintendo hasn’t released a press release stating so. Gamelife is reporting that the final page of the instruction manual for Professor Layton and the Curious Village confirms the release of the next game in the series.

The Japanese version of the game has a secret password entry screen that can only be unlocked by going through the sequel to the game called Professor Layton and the Devil’s Box, currently available only in Japan. That same feature made it into the U.S. game, and the instruction manual says that the password is revealed in the sequel. Seems like an official confirmation to me.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village releases February 10th for the DS.
