Tales of Symphonia Set To Wash Ashore

Thanks to the timely release of Nintendo Power Magazine, Wii RPG fans who can’t satisfy their appetite enough will be happy to know that Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk will be localized for the North American market under the moniker ToS: Dawn of the New World. A release date has yet to be revealed but the Japanese version of the game will release this spring.
Dawn of the New World takes place two years after the events in the original Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube. You play as Emil as the world enters into a new era and the spirit of the old Kharlan Tree, Ratatosk, is spiraling the newly combined worlds into chaos. Many of your favorites return, including Lloyd, Genis, and Raine, and many of them will be playable, along with a host of brand new friends.
If you’re lucky, you may find a copy of the first game still in stores. It was one of those that seemed to pass so many people by. You owe it to yourself to pick it up, play through it, and wait patiently until this game hits retail shelves. Not only will you not be disappointed, you’ll fall in love with the character design, music, and world that this game creates. So what are you waiting for?
