Capcom Rolling in Piles of Money

Seems Capcom is doing OK for themselves. They released their third quarter sales figures and, contrary to popular belief, their titles do seem to sell pretty well.
The major players, Zack and Wiki for the Wii, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii, and Devil May Cry 4 for 360 and PS3 were all mentioned. Zack and Wiki managed to tear through 300,000 copies worldwide, a respectable amount for a puzzle game featuring entirely new IP and virtually no advertising in the western world. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles sold over 950,000 copies worldwide, solidifying itself as a great spin-off brand to the core Resident Evil experience.
The company also laid out plans to shift 1.9 million copies of Devil May Cry 4 in the final quarter of the fiscal year. I don’t know if they can sell through that many, considering the hardcore base that the series plays to, but cheers to Capcom for at least having the cajones to try.
