Nintendo Heartbroken over Resident Evil 4

Word has it that Capcom characters don’t appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl due to the exclusivity agreement over Resident Evil 4 that once held by Nintendo. Inside sources from Nintendo reportedly spilled the beans to Kotaku, stating that Nintendo reconsidered the inclusion of Capcom characters in Brawl due to Capcom’s re-release of Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 and PC, the former giving the title increased sales that the Gamecube original couldn’t, thus breaking the exclusivity agreement the two companies held.
If true, one can’t help but wonder how the already stellar game would’ve played out with the inclusion of Mega Man or Leon. Here’s hoping that any future Smash Bros. games will include the Capcom roster.
