CryEngine 2 To Be Demonstrated on PS360 at GDC

Crytek announced today that it will be demonstrating CryEngine 2, which powers their recently released, critically acclaimed PC shooter Crysis, running on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at GDC next month.
While Crysis has always been considered a PC exclusive, Crytek have hinted for the longest time at a console iteration of the game. Whether that means a direct port or an entirely new title based on the property remains to be seen.
Crytek will also be hosting a conference on how to put together a $600 gaming PC that will run Crysis and another GDC session entitled “Crysis in the Making,” which will provide a behind the scenes look at the development of the game.
We will be on-hand at the event, ready to relay any particulars.
(Ed. Note- Yes, SurferGirl did inspire me with the whole ‘PS360′ thing. It’s pretty darn catchy and abbreviating it like that saves precious server space.)
