No, that’s not the debut screenshot from Crackdown 2, but instead, one of the first images from DICE’s recently announced first-person action title, Mirror’s Edge.
On-Mirror’s-Edge, the official fansite of the game, has the two shots available for your full viewing pleasure.
DICE Senior producer, Owen O’Brien, describes the game:
“We want to change the way that players are able to move in first person. No more restrictions, no more being blocked by simple barriers such as walls and fences. We want to enable the player to move like a real person, with the ability to run, jump, vault and slide in a way that has never been seen before in a first person game.”
Based on the screenshots and info that has been released so far, we envision a modern Assassin’s Creed mixed with a dash of Crackdown. We eagerly await more details to emerge from Stockholm.
