Shacknews has received word from Valve that the upcoming co-operative zombie game Left 4 Dead has been delayed, yet again, until Summer of 2008.

The game, which was previously scheduled for a Q1 release date, is being developed by Valve and it’s newly acquired subsidiary, Turtle Rock Studios for the PC and Xbox 360.

As a self-proclaimed zombie fan, this news deeply saddens me. I was looking forward to shooting zombies in the face with my pals over the internet. Here’s hoping for that famous Valve polish on the final product.
