Although the game has been rooted in controversy and received unanimously lukewarm reviews, IO Interactive’s Kane & Lynch: Dead Men has gone on to sell over a million units since it’s mid November release, according to a report from Next Gen.
SCi Entertainment (along with subsidiary Edios) also revealed that sales of the game have exceeded those of IO’s previous game, Hitman: Blood Money, released in 2006.
A sequel to Kane & Lynch has already been confirmed to be in development, along with a film adaptation.
