Shacknews has confirmed that the Xbox Live Arcade update of Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s cult classic music shooter Rez will be hitting the Xbox Marketplace in a matter of weeks and will retail for 800 MS points ($10).

The update will add high definition visuals and 5.1 surround sound to the original game, which was previously released for the Dreamcast and Playstation 2 in 2001 and 2002, respectively.
