Valve Adds Gift-Giving to All STEAM Games

Just in time for the Holidays, Valve has announced that STEAM users can now give any game in its massive library as a gift to friends, loved ones, or any cubes they might be involved with.
To do so, simply select the game on STEAM, then indicate the purchase is a gift at checkout time. An email is sent to the recipient, notifying him that he can download the game on STEAM. If he is not a user, the email outlines the requisite steps to getting setup.
Gift-giving via STEAM first surfaced with the release of The Orange Box in October. Those who already owned games provided in the package, like Half-Life 2 and Episode One, were able to give the duplicates away to others.
It’s good to know I can now do all my Christmas shopping in between rounds of Team Fortress 2.
