The latest trailer for SEGA and Bizarre’s upcoming arcade-style shooter The Club attempts to provide further insight into the title’s gameplay mechanics.

While we’d like to applaud Bizarre for taking a somewhat new approach to the genre, we’re still a tad skeptical about whether or not the ‘on-track’ gameplay, point systems, and combos will work well in a shooter just because they work in PGR. We’ll reserve further judgment until we have some hands-on time, however.

The game will be out next year for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and PC.
