Assassin’s Creed Reaches Holy Land

Assassin’s Creed has gone gold for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will be out smack-dab in the middle of the holiday onslaught, November 16. The PC version is slated for release sometime next year.

“We’ve been working very hard for nearly four years to make Assassin’s Creed a reality and now there is a confirmed date when players will get to experience the results of our efforts. This is a huge event for the team. Our biggest reward will be everyone having a lot of good solid fun.”

We’ve been itching for this game since seeing it at E3 2006. Recent demonstrations seemed a bit rough around the edges, however, so we really hope Ubisoft didn’t rush it out the door to meet the holiday demand. We’ll know soon enough!
