As the release date for the year’s most anticipated sci-fi RPG draws near, Microsoft Game Studios outlined the release details for the Collector’s Edition of Mass Effect today. The box will include a fictional book entitled “Galactic Codex: Essentials” which will undoubtedly have something to do with the universe and story of Mass Effect, a supplementary art book entitled “A Future Imagined,” and finally a second DVD with exclusive video footage. Expect the Collector’s Edition to retail for about $10 more than the regular version and to be released right around the same time. The game is exclusive, currently, to the Xbox 360.
