Sony Computer Entertainment announced today that it has acquired both Evolution Studios and Bigbig Studios. The England-based Evolution was the team responsible for arguably the best PlayStation 3 launch-exclusive, the off-road racer MotoStorm. Bigbig is responsible for the PSP and PS2 series Pursuit Force. Sony hopes to give the PlayStation platform some much-needed bolstering with the development efforts these teams will provide.
