HP lets us know that it’s jaw-dropping new gaming PC, the Blackbird 002, has gone on sale today. The “Dedication Edition” is the only option now available and features an overclocked Intel Core Extreme QX6850, 2GB Corsair DDR2-800, dual nVidia GeForce 8800 Ultras, and over 600GB of SATA hard drive space. The system comes with Vista Ultimate installed and is bundled with Valve’s upcoming Orange Box.
If you’ve got the $5,500 USD to spare, order now at the system site. If not, you’ll need to wait until October 1, when users can go online and customize their own systems, starting at a more bearable $2,500.
