Eve Online is looking to expand it’s horizons a bit beyond current reach. Developer CCP today announced a partnership with Transgaming Inc, in which they plan to bring Eve Online to both Mac and Linux users. Transgaming specializes in porting games across multiple platforms without the need for complete redevelopment. I’m not sure how big the MMO crowd on either of these platforms are, but I’m sure whatever crowd there happens to be, they’re waiting for a breath of fresh air. And what better place for that then space?
