Take-Two cut its 2007 sales forecast today after announcing plans to delay the release of its most anticipated property, Grand Theft Auto IV.

The game, which had previously been scheduled for release this October, has been bumped back to fiscal Q2 2008 or calendar Q1 2008.

Take-Two Chairman Strauss Zelnick admitted that “certain elements of development proved to be more time-intensive than expected.”
