E3 Too Human
Developer Silicon Knights and its long-awaited Too Human third-person action adventure game seem to have a knack for hitting the potholes in the road. Thanks to a disappointing showing at E3 2006, Too Human’s creators have recently unleashed a lawsuit upon Epic Games, citing Epic’s alleged failure to provide Silicon Knights with a fully functional version of the Unreal Engine 3. This may actually explain the fact that Too Human has been on the shelf for nearly two years now.

But by the information publisher Microsoft unveiled at E3 2007, Too Human seems to be poised to pummel the action-adventure genre. Silicon Knights calls Too Humans plot, a “modern take on a classic story,” which revolves around Baldur, a cybernetic god sent to save humanity from advanced robots. We know, we know. It doesn’t make sense to us, either.

Anyway, Too Human promises sweet online co-op and, “will introduce a combination of weapons combat on a level that exceeds some fighting games, leaving players in awe.” And, if that isn’t enough, Too Human will challenge gamers to, “begin the saga of Baldur in the first chapter of an exciting narrative in the tradition of classic trilogies such as ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Lord of the Rings.’”

No, we’re not making this up.

The game is slated for an Xbox 360 release in 2008. See our E3 2007 Too Human screens
