E3 07 Mass Effect
Publisher Microsoft released some new info for BioWare’s highly anticipated new galactic RPG, Mass Effect.

No stranger to space-age RPG’s, developer BioWare (Jade Empire, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) is undoubtedly planning on upping the ante come November. Mass Effect will include an intense, heart-pumping sci-fi storyline about a space-lawman who discovers a secret that might destroy the universe. Mass Effect promises endless hours of potential playing time combined with an innovative new squad-based combat system, featuring dozens of futuristic weapons plus biotic and tech powers, so that players will certainly find themselves in plenty sticky situations that should be loads of fun to play out.

And finally, Mass Effect appears to be the game that will set the bar in the area of voice-acting and onscreen lip-synching. Hopefully, the advent of this game will snap other developers into recognizing that gamers will no longer stand for loose lips on their shiny new LCDs. Moreover, BioWare has attracted some veritable actors to lend their voices to the project, such as Keith David, Lance Henriksen, and…Seth Green?
