E3 2007: Guitar Hero 3 Details and Screens

The series that took the gaming world by storm is back for another encore: Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is a joint effort between developers Neversoft, Vicarious Visions, and Budcat, and publisher RedOctane. Set for release in Fall, 2007, the XBOX 360, PS3, and Wii versions of the game will support the Gibson Les Paul Wireless Guitar, while the Gibson Kramer wired version will find it’s home on the PS2.

You’ll be rocking out to the tunes of The Rolling Stones, Muse, Pearl Jam, Alice Cooper, and Heart, but the biggest announcement is the addition of new multiplayer modes, including arcade inspired battles and co-op career modes, both online and off. New downloadable songs, leaderboards, Achievements for the 360, venues, and characters round out the feature list.
